Scotch College offers both a core compulsory curriculum and a number of elective Semester Units in Year 9. The core studies are comprised of English, Mathematics, General Science, History, at least one Language, and a combination of Christian Education, Physical Education and Health Education. In addition boys select elective units that will give them a breadth of experience, allow them to identify their academic strengths and interests and learn more about themselves as learners and individuals. Three semester length elective units are studied during the year.
